Two boys are lost in the woods on their way home from school, Edmund Hooper (the nasty one who appears first) and Charles Kingshaw, both supposed to be aged 11 but they are clearly a bit older older. They squabble, they follow a stream through the woods, and when they come upon a pool, Edmund eagerly undresses and jumps in, then pressures Charles to do the same, after which they act like the boys they are. This very rare material has been passed to me by Ted of Ted Says, who has found scenes from the 1970 book by Susan Hill, "I'm The King Of The Castle", a story which has never been made into an English-language film, but there is a loosely-adapted French film. It is only because the boys' full names are to be heard during the scenes that Ted has been able to identify the book. Because of a good reaction here, Ted has uploaded the un-edited full sequence in two parts on his Ted Says channel, per links at the beginning of this text.
